WE LOVE A PROJECT WHERE WE CAN INCORPORATE RECLAIMED MATERIALS
Reduce π Reuse π Recycle π
There is something quite magical about reusing these materials, they add an extra level of authenticity to a structure or space especially when you’re looking to incorporate subtle tasteful timeless improvements.
Here are some of reclaimed materials we have used recently;
π stock bricks
π granite setts
π oak sleepers
π slate & rosemary roof tiles
π ridges and finials
π wooden benches
π Stone plant pots
π Stone columns
π York stone flags
Plus, as an extra bonus you can sometimes find out the provenance of a material, for example, the extra thick York stone flags we used originally came from St Albans Railway Station which dates to 1868!
The granite setts from an old London street with hundreds of years' worth of uniqueness imprinted in each and every one.
The ridges and finials are beautiful and so deserving of another life standing proud front and centre…. visit our instagram page for more photos of these materials set within their new home.
WE TAKE THE IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT VERY SERIOUSLY AND WHEREVER POSSIBLE LOOK TO REDUCE OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
AND INCREASE OUR ‘GREEN CREDENTIALS’
Sir David Attenborough
Never before have we had such an awareness of what we are doing to the planet,
and never before have we had the power to do something about that.

enviromental π considerations π during manufacture π and beyond
We look to work with suppliers who take their impact on the enviroment seriously and wherever possible look to reduce this in thier operation.
We have seen this demonstrated with;
- new greener solutions in the manufacturing processes
- more recycling & less waste in manufacture and sales process
- ο»Ώproducts made to last thus reducing the need to replace as often
- better maintenance options (less harmful products) to use to look after the investment
- ethical corporate responsibility when purchasing oversees
- more products made in the UK
- better transport logistics using greener vehicles
